Almost two years after the sudden and unexpected loss of our Artistic Director, Rubino Rubini, creator and promoter of Doc Fest, we decided to create a new cultural association: Art Doc Festival in order to carry on our mission of organizing documentary film festivals and reviews. Our passion for our work and our long-standing experience led us to take this decision.

The Art Doc Festival cultural association was created in order to carry on the legacy of the Doc Fest, which over the years, organized several documentary film festivals and reviews (Festival of Palazzo Venezia in Rome, Milano Doc Festival and Sole e Luna Doc Fest in Palermo). Over the years the Doc Fest built a unique archive of the extraordinary form of cinema and entertainment that the documentary is. Our aim is to give a new life to this archive as well as to propose new projects.

Therefore, we are writing to you both to announce the creation of the new cultural association and to communicate that, in the year 2013, Art Doc Festival aims at presenting in Rome, at the Casa dell'Architettura (House of Architecture) an International documentary film review on Art, Architecture, Cinema, Theatre, Music and Dance, showing the most important and recent international film productions.
