Realized on the occasion of the large retrospective exhibition at the Centre Pompidou in Paris in 2013, the film documents the life and work of Eileen Gray, Irish furniture designer and architect, considered as a pioneer of the International Style’ s aesthetic. Through interviews with art experts, curators and collectors, the documentary is a cinematic and historical research of the career of Gray, recognized as a true modernist icon. Hers architectural planning is based on the importance of aesthetic and design, as we can see in one of hers masterpieces recently restored, the E1027 Villa in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin on the French Riviera, where she collaborated with her husband Jean Badovici and Le Corbusier and that in 2000 was officially proclaimed as National Monument by the French State.
