L'associazione culturale Art Doc Festival raccoglie l'eredità culturale della Doc Fest che negli anni ha organizzato numerosi festival e rassegne di documentari in Italia e all'estero tra i quali: Festival di Palazzo Venezia, Milano Doc Festival, Sole e Luna Doc Fest. Art Doc Festival si propone di proseguire tali attività avvalendosi dell'esperienza e della professionalità dello stesso gruppo di lavoro. The cultural association Art Doc Festival has gathered the legacy of Doc Fest that, over the years, has organized several documentary film festivals and reviews in Italy and abroad, including: Festival of Palazzo Venezia, Milano Doc Festival, Sole e Luna Doc Fest. Art Doc Festival intends to go on with these activities availing oneself of the same working group of experienced and professional people.

Per l'anno 2013, Art Doc Festival presenterà a novembre a Roma, presso la Casa dell'Architettura, una Rassegna internazionale di documentari su Arte, Architettura, Cinema, Teatro, Musica e Danza scelti tra le più importanti e recenti produzioni documentaristiche cinematografiche e televisive realizzate nel mondo dal 2010 ad oggi. La Rassegna sarà costituita da una selezione di documentari scelti tra quelli pervenuti attraverso questo bando e divisi nelle categorie di Arte e Architettura, Cinema e Teatro, Musica e Danza. For the year 2013, Art Doc Festival presents in November in Rome, at the Casa dell'Architettura (House of Architecture) an International documentary film review on Art, Architecture, Cinema, Theatre, Music and Dance, showing the most important and recent international film productions, between 2010 and today, around the indicated topics. The review will be composed by a selection of documentaries divided in three sections: Art and Architecture, Cinema and Theatre, Music and Dance.

I film verranno selezionati da un Comitato Scientifico appositamente costituito che li sceglierà tra quelli pervenuti tramite il lancio del bando e tra quelli già presenti all'interno dell'archivio Doc Fest | Rubino Rubini presentati nelle varie manifestazioni organizzate da Doc Fest negli anni di attività. A selecting committee will decide which of the submitted works to include in the review and will select a fiew of documentaries, produced in the last 15 years, chosen from those already present in the archive Doc Fest | Rubino Rubini.

L'ingresso a tutte le proiezioni sarà a titolo gratuito. All the screenings will be free for entrance.

La rassegna è divisa in tre categorie | The review is divided into three sections:

ARTE E ARCHITETTURA | ART AND ARCHITECTURE

Sezione dedicata ai documentari provenienti da tutto il mondo e realizzati dal 2010 ad oggi sulle arti visive e l'architettura. Possono essere ammessi in tale sezione documentari su pittura, scultura, performances, allestimenti, nuove tendenze dell'arte contemporanea oltre a grandi ritratti e biografie di artisti, racconti sulle loro mostre, restauri, inchieste, approfondimenti critici. L'architettura, il design, documentari su monumenti, chiese, musei, palazzi, città, borghi, progetti architettonici, restauri, interventi sul paesaggio, giardini, installazioni, land art, biografie di architetti, repertorio storico sull'arte di costruire e ricostruire.

This section comprehends documentaries produced all over the world between 2010 and today on the theme of visual arts and architecture. Documentaries featured in this section portray painting, sculpture, performance art, art shows, new trends in contemporary art, great exponents in the arts and their exhibitions, restorations, events, inquiries and historical investigations on art, architecture, design, monuments, churches, museums, palaces, cities, neighborhoods, contemporary and historical constructions, restorations, landscaping, architectural installations, biographies of architects and archival footage on the art of building and rebuilding.

CINEMA E TEATRO | CINEMA AND THEATRE

Sezione dedicata ai documentari provenienti da tutto il mondo e realizzati dal 2010 ad oggi su cinema e teatro. Possono essere ammessi in tale sezione documentari su cinema e teatro comprendenti biografie di attori e registi, produttori, sceneggiatori, storie sul e del teatro o cinema, repertorio, approfondimenti critici, programmi televisivi, back stage, riprese di spettacoli, ecc.

This section comprehends documentaries produced all over the world between 2010 and today on the theme of the cinematographic and dramatic arts. Documentaries featured in this section portray biographies of actors, directors, producers, scriptwriters and playwrights, as well as stories surrounding cinematographic and dramatic performances, news segments on cinema and theatre, tv programs, backstage etc.

MUSICA E DANZA | MUSIC AND DANCE

Sezione dedicata ai documentari provenienti da tutto il mondo e realizzati dal 2010 ad oggi su musica e danza. Possono essere ammessi in tale sezione documentari su grandi musicisti, su tutti i generi musicali, le prove, i backstage, i ritratti di autori e cantanti, le biografie di musicisti, i racconti di storie inerenti la musica di ogni tipo e qualità, i programmi televisivi, gli approfondimenti giornalistici, le interviste ecc. La danza classica e moderna, i video dei balletti, le prove, le scuole di ballo, le danze popolari e "nazionali". Sono inoltre ammessi tutti i documentari inerenti la storia della danza, biografie di ballerini, performance, stage di ricerca, coreografie, messe in scena, costumi, contaminazioni tra i vari generi, happening ecc.

This section features productions made between 2010 and today from all over the world about music and dance. Documentaries accepted in this section are related to the world of any kind of music, concerts, rehearsals, backstage, portraits of authors and singers, biographies of musicians and performers, stories pertaining to music of any nature and quality, tv programs and news segments on music. All genres of dance, the rehearsals and performances, dance academies, folk and popular dance. This section also includes documentaries on the history of dance, dancers' biographies, performances, costumes, choreographies, cross-contamination of genres, and important dance events.

Nella scheda si richiede ai partecipanti di indicare in quale fra le sezioni previste dalla rassegna si intende iscrivere il proprio filmato. La commissione selezionatrice si riserva tuttavia la possibilità di cambiare la sezione proposta.

Participants are to specify for which section they are submitting their film. The selecting committee reserves the right to move any of the submitted films from one section to another.

COME PARTECIPARE ALLA RASSEGNA | PARTICIPANT RULES

Possono partecipare ad Art Doc Festival filmati prodotti in tutto il mondo dal 2010 ad oggi che abbiano per tema gli oggetti della rassegna. Art Doc Festival will only accept documentaries producted between 2010 and today featuring the content specified above.

Se di lingue diverse, i filmati devono pervenire sottotitolati in italiano o in inglese. Se sottotitolati in inglese devono essere inviate anche le liste dialoghi. International films must provide subtitling in Italian or in English. If subtitled in English, we also require dialogue transcripts.

Per partecipare ad Art Doc Festival è necessario inviare entro il 30 Settembre 2013:

> una copia della scheda d'iscrizione che andrà compilata in ogni sua parte | the application form fully filled out;

> due copie del filmato in DVD STANDARD PAL | two PAL STANDARD DVD copies of the film;

> una copia cartacea della scheda di iscrizione compilata in ogni sua parte e con firma originale dell'avente diritto per accettazione del regolamento | a paper copy of the application form, fully filled out and signed by the copyright owner;

Con l'iscrizione alla rassegna ogni singolo autore o produttore risponde del contenuto delle sue opere, dichiara di aver assolto tutti i diritti d'autore verso terzi e concede esplicita autorizzazione all'uso del materiale musicale e visivo. By entering the contest each individual filmmaker or producer is responsible for the content of his work and warrants that the grant of this licence will not infringe the copyright (sound or picture) or any other rights whatsoever of any third party.

All'interno dei telegiornali e delle trasmissioni televisive e per ogni attività di promozione e comunicazione della rassegna, Art Doc Festival potrà inoltre utilizzare brevi sequenze o immagini tratte dall'opera. Il detentore dei diritti autorizza inoltre, ulteriori proiezioni a titolo gratuito dell'opera, nell'ambito di iniziative legate ad Art Doc Festival. By applying the review the participants explicitly allows the use of sound and video materials. Art Doc Festival may also show short clips or images from the submitted entries on television news, broadcasts and in all kind of promotion and communications activities related to the review. Copyright's owners also authorize further showings of their works without any charge for non-profit purposes.

Il sottoscrittore si fa carico della veridicità dei dati contenuti che, in caso di selezione, verranno utilizzati nei materiali di promozione e comunicazione della rassegna (catalogo, sito internet, comunicazioni alla stampa, ecc.). The subscriber declares that all the submitted information are true and allows their use for promotional and communication purposes related to the review (catalogue, web site, press releases, etc.).

I materiali inviati, sia quelli relativi alle opere selezionate che quelli esclusi dalla rassegna, NON verranno restituiti, ma saranno conservati presso l'archivio dell'associazione a scopo di documentazione. Both the admitted and the non-admitted titles will NOT be returned to the film senders, as they will remain for good in the Art Doc Festival archive for documentary purposes. They will not be used for commercial purposes and could be seen within the archive for free.

La sottoscrizione della scheda di iscrizione si intende come integrale accettazione del bando di partecipazione e del presente regolamento. Signing in the entry form implies full acceptance of all the terms and conditions.

Il presente regolamento è parte integrante della scheda di iscrizione e viene sottoscritto unitamente ad essa. These rules are considered part of the application form and must be signed and attached to it.

In caso di controversie è competente il Tribunale di Roma. In case of controversy, the Court of Roma will have jurisdiction. Should there be any interpretation problems of terms and conditions, the Italian version will be considered final.

I dati personali verranno trattati secondo quanto previsto dalla legge 31/12/1996 n°675 e successive modificazioni ed integrazioni. Personal information will be dealt according to the terms of Law no. 675 of 31/12/1996 and following changes and additions.
