A portrait of the current condition of Irpinia, a region in the South of Italy placed between memory and future. An area that looks at modernity, remaining loyal to its own traditions and distancing himself from a dangerous ending. The territory of Irpinia has a peculiar and favorable point of view to see clearly the values that still remain in the region, the achievable mistakes and also the potential redemption of an whole country. The documentary contains interventions of different artists involved in the project: Luigi Mainolfi, Perino and Vele, Umberto Manzo, Eugenio Giliberti, Lucio and Peppe Perone, and other personalities like Andres Neumann, Francesco Saporito and Piero Mastroberardino.
