Antonella Greco

Antonella Greco is an architectural historian and professor of the contemporary history of architecture at the University of Rome. She graduated with G. C. Argan. In her publications she has always dealt with the relationship between art and architecture in the twentieth century. She has curated the architecture sections of all the editions of Doc Fest Festival, in Italy and abroad (Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao). Together with Benedetta Nervi and Lia Polizzotti she founded Art Doc Festival.

Art historian, graduate in Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Tuscia, her professional activity is mainly characterized by the organization and the management of cultural projects, both in the private practice, both in the collaborations with the public administration, especially the MiBACT, and in the private sector. She has curated art exhibitions and their set-up, she has been part of research groups and editorial staffs on the themes of the cultural heritage and the contemporary art, even dealing with the public relations and the communication. Since 2007, in collaboration with the Doc Fest, she began taking an interest in the world of the documentary films, in their territory of encounter with art. For Doc Fest she has curated the artistic coordination for many international documentary film festivals, the selection of films, the preparation of the catalogs and the production of documentaries on art and architecture. After many years of working together and sharing passion, in 2013 she founded Art Doc Festival together with Antonella Greco and Lia Polizzotti.

Lia Polizzotti

She began to deal with documentary films in 2006, when for the cultural association Doc Fest, she worked as artistic coordinator and event organiser for documentary films festivals and reviews as the Festival of the Palazzo Venezia in Rome, the Milano Doc Festival and the Sole e Luna Doc Fest in Palermo. For Doc Fest she has also worked as a production assistant for some documentaries on architecture and corporate video, directed by Rubino Rubini. Together with Irene Pantaleo, she founded Le Liane Video-productions, a production company specializing in art documentaries. They have realized documentaries on artists such as Bruno Conte, Marie-Caroline De Baecque, Carlo Lorenzetti, Pietro Ruffo, Giuseppe Spagnulo, the group Stalker, and Jelena Vasiljev and on exhibitions dedicated to artists like Carlo Levi and Mario Sironi. She has a degree in History and Criticism of Cinema at DAMS - University of Rome. Together with Antonella Greco and Benedetta Nervi, she decided to create Art Doc Festival, in 2013, to carry on common projects with the same team spirit of working together along the years.

Irene Pantaleo

Videomaker, she works on editing, shooting, conception and direction of videos and documentary films. Pupil of Alberto Grifi, one of the founding fathers of the Italian underground cinema, she works as his assistant from 2004 to 2006, dealing with projects about the collective direction and the use of multi-camera. She also works as an assistant director of Luigi Di Gianni, one of the greatest Italian Documentary Filmmaker and author of many visionary fiction films, film of which she dedicated her thesis in History and Criticism of Cinema. Together with Lia Polizzotti, she began to take up a path to film the modern and contemporary art scene and – as Le Liane Video-production - they have realized videos for art exhibitions and documentaries on artists such as Mario Sironi, Carlo Levi, Bruno Conte Carlo Lorenzetti, Pietro Ruffo, Giuseppe Spagnulo, Marie-Caroline De Baecque, the group Stalker, Jelena Vasiljev. She works with Art Doc Festival since its foundation, taking care of the video communication of the Cultural Association’s appointments and events. From 2015 she became a member of Art Doc Festival.
